Gifts For Boaters
Posted Under: Uncategorized
Choosing an Xmas gift for a man, specially the ones who “have everything” they ever wanted or needed can be a daunting task for the wife, girlfriend and even the children.
Who started this Xmas instead of Christmas anyhow? I suspect those who have made the never ending search for the perfect Chrisrmas gift for the boss or Dad? Perhaps that is how the X got stuck in front of the most celebrated holiday of all.
Enough said of that. No matter who he is, there are a number of unusual and very useful gifts available for him. Thinking outside the box is the answer.By the box, I mean the habitual gifting of socks, ties and shirts as well as belts. Its likely he would rather choose his own than to have wear the Santa Claus socks you got him next time he sees you.
One really good place to search is, naturally the Internet. Just before writing this small silly article, I did a search on Google for “gifts for men” and came up with 34,100,000 pages. The first page had some really good ideas but i’m sure some of the others were not relevant. Of coarse you first have to sift though the dating and porn offers before you get to acceptable ideas but there are quite a few great sites listed there.
A good bet for unusual Christmas gifts for men is an electronic devise. A divise for fun, work or just to make life easier. He who has the most man toys wins. Or so they say anyhow.
Another interesting site offered ideas for gifts for men under 40 and gifts for men over 50 and gifts for golfers, gifts for boaters and sports fans of all brands. Then there are office gifts, travel gifts, outdoor gifts and men’s accessories; oops here come the socks and ties again. I saw one for leather gifts for men but decided not to look at the pictures.
Now here is great idea for gifts for most men. Boaters gifts! Regarless of whether or not a boater he probably has an allure to the sea. Does not everyone? There is an unlimited availability of nautical gifts for men. How about a Howard Miller desk clock or mantel clock. Or, a Howard Miller tide clock or borometer for the boater or sailor. Howard Miller products are high quality items!
All men like binoculars. Waterproof ones are the best choice for boaters or sailors. Although more costly they hold up better in harsh conditions.
Then there are water proof cameras, handheld GPS’s or how about a Yachtsman sailing watch; how many guys have one of those?
One thing you don’t want to do without some professional help is to buy him a fish finder or GPS Plotter for the boat. This type of gift can be rather difficult as there are many types for different boats and uses. Best bet is to spoil the surprise and let him pick it out.
Anyhow, good luck and Merry Christmas. I would be happy to help you choose a gift; my contact info is below in the Bio. I will be happy to help you.
